Kick member

To add this step to your bot, simply click on the "Kick member" block. If you can't find it, you can easily search for it using the search bar at the top of the editor.

Use this block to kick the member executing the flow from the server. One use case is to place it after a captcha fails for example.

When testing, Dots will not kick the testing member. It will simply skip this step until the flow is published.

Settings:

Once selected, the settings will open on the right side of the editor:

  1. Step name: name given to the block in the editor.

  2. Which user to apply: Select the user you want to kick out of your server.

If you don't use the Find a user block in the flow above this block you will only be able to choose the user running the bot! Read how to use the Find a user block to learn how to get more options in this field.

  3. Kick member after: Enter the time in minutes after which the selected channel will be deleted.

  4. Reason for kick: Optionally enter a reason why you kicked this member from the server.
