Send embed message

To add this step to your bot, simply click on the "Send embed message" block. If you can't find it, you can easily search for it using the search bar at the top of the editor.

This block is a variation of the Send message block described in the previous section. Discord embed messages can have a colored border, embedded images, text fields, and other fancy properties as you can see in the example below:

At the moment we do not have an embedded message creator in our platform, but we recommend you this platform to create it and then paste it in the text field of the block settings.

Settings:

Once selected, the settings will open in the right part of the editor:

1. Step name: name given to the block in the editor.
2. Check this option to make this message private, only the person executing the bot can read it.

3. Embed message in JSON format: Paste here your embed message from an external editor. The button with the brush at the top-left will erase all the text in the text input.

4. Check this option to add a delay before sending the message, minimum value is 1 minute. If you type a decimal value it will be sent after one minute.

If you don't find a channel, follow the steps below:

1. Click on the editor "Settings" button
2. Click the refresh button
3. You are done! You will now be able to select the newly created channels and roles
